Anybody who knows me well enough, especially in business, understands very well that I’ll take any opportunity to flash my digital business card to anyone. However, as a part of my journey to curating tailor made creative services in my business model, it’s become unavoidable to deliver my wealthy knowledge and experience of the printing industry.
Unfortunately, with that knowledge also comes the constant reminder of the destruction and wastage I witnessed first hand that the printing industry had left on the environment. After all this, it’s fair to say I am incredibly causeous when I engage with suppliers in my business, even clients. I always ensure that their environmental strategies align with mine. So, when I just can’t sell that digital, future forward, solution to the client, I do understand that some situations call for a tangible, personal touch; the old fashioned printed business card.
After much research, meetings, and many challenges to find a solution, I am pleased to announce that my printing services are now being delivered in partnership with a Sustainable Green Printer by the Printing Industry Association of Australia.
For every 1000 business cards printed with Sophie Lange, a tree is planted in devastated bushfire land all across Australia. It's our way of contributing to the restoration of our beautiful bushland and addressing the environmental challenges we face. The choice of paper stock matters, and that's why we exclusively use Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Certified papers. These materials come from responsibly managed forests, which actually use less energy than it does to produce recycked paper, which further ensures a holistic approach to environmental, social, and economic sustainability.
And the cost? Don’t worry, there’s no green tax here. In addition to our commitment to sustainability, we understand that cost is a valid concern.
