Behind Green Eyes: The Rebrand of Jasper & Jade.

Embarking on the rebranding journey with Jasper and Jade was nothing short of exhilarating. As a designer deeply committed to sustainability, working with clients who shared my values was a dream come true. Jasper and Jade, a sustainable fashion and art label, (run by my bestie), approached me with a desire to refresh their visual identity we worked on more than half a decade ago, while staying true to their ethos of ethical practices and timeless elegance.🍃

The Rebrand

A collection of dainty and whimsical hand drawn pieces. Colouring books, letter prints, and limited edition clothing. By Isobel.

Established in 2020 as a slow fashion power house, Jasper and Jade began to illustrate the pieces for their garments. However COVID decided it had other plans, halting the idea that birthed JJ. The drawing continued, which evolved into a side project, and eventually became publishable artwork on letters, a branded colouring book, and finally, the limited release garments - stemming back to the brand’s fashion roots.

The Refresh

The Jasper and Jade brand needed an overhaul to complement their nature loving, earth preserving philosophy behind each of their authentic pieces - both art and fashion. Earthy tones, peaceful sketches and an aesthetic brand mark were top prioirty to reach the level of tranquility to achieve these results.

In addition to the logo modifications - and additions - we carefully curated a new color palette and scripted typography for the products of JJ. This would be the driving force behind infusing the brand with sophistication and modernity while honoring its roots. Each design element was meticulously chosen to evoke a sense of luxury and refinement, inviting Jasper and Jade's customers into a world of conscious living and effortless style.

Sustainability and Ethical Practice

Throughout the rebranding process, sustainability remained at the forefront of our minds. We worked tirelessly to ensure that every aspect of Jasper and Jade's visual identity—from packaging to marketing materials—adhered to the highest ethical and environmental standards. Transparency and accountability were non-negotiable, and we made it a priority to provide customers with insight into the label's sustainable practices.

As we unveil the new look of Jasper and Jade to the world, I am filled with pride and gratitude. This rebranding represents more than just a visual transformation—it's a celebration of creativity, innovation, and the power of sustainable fashion to make a positive impact on the world. I am honored to have been a part of Jasper and Jade's journey, and I have no doubt that their commitment to sustainability and timeless elegance will continue to inspire others for years to come.

Seeing Isobel and JJ grow over the past half a decade has not only been an honour but a testament to the evolution of my own creative flair in my career to date.
